Droid Lacks Multi-Touch Gestures: Motorola Responds

11/5: Verizon announces the Droid Eris by HTC–an Android phone that which includes native pinch-and-zoom in its native Web browser and picture viewer. The fact that Verizon Wireless offers an Android device with native applications that support pinch-and-zoom seems to contradict what Motorola’s statement inferred. Motorola DROID’s built-in apps don’t have multitouch support, third-party stuff is another story

AOTS reviews the Motorola Droid (Video) from androidandme.com. states that No Milti touch and now, they correct it now, as android said, the Verizon Droid do support the Multi-touch,

So the fact it is, Google Android OS on the Motorola Droid supports multi-touch, the build-in Apps does not.. the Droid Browers does not supports, it is 3rd party apps and software which enable the Pinch and Zoom features which shows in Video Review
