Tip #1: Remote Desktop**
When You work away from the office, they can get secure, remote access to Windows®-based personal computers and Microsoft® server products through Remote Desktop**.
Tip #2: Add Shortcuts to the Saga™
You can customize the Samsung Saga™ by creating shortcuts. To create customized shortcuts, follow these steps: Start > Settings > System > Fn Shortcuts > Edit > Choose letter > Choose application to launch. Then to launch their customized shortcut, You will simply go to the Main screen, hold the Fn key, and press the appropriate letter to launch the desired application.
Tip #3: Voice Mail Shortcut
Press and hold the 1/E key to speed-dial voice mail.
Tip #4: Lock the Saga™
You can quickly lock the Saga™ by holding down the Lock key on the left side of the device.
Tip #5: Multiple SMS Recipients
You can send an SMS message to up to 10 recipients at once. Use the QWERTY keyboard to put a semicolon between names.
Tip #6: Adding Notes to Contact Entries
Notes enable your customer to add an audio file or a written note to a contact entry. To add a written note, follow these steps: Contacts > Select desired contact > Notes > Edit QWERTY Keyboard icon > Type note > ok to save.
Tip #7: Voice Command Icon
When the Voice Command feature is activated, the microphone icon appears in the title bar. Also, Voice Command has a Help feature which lists the available commands. Activate it by simply saying “Help” after Voice Command has been activated.
Tip #8: Customize the Dialer Display
The Dialer Display can be customized for both right-handed and left-handed users at Settings > Dialer Display.
Tip #9: Setting Up a Bluetooth®† Headset
You can set up a Bluetooth®† headset by going to Settings > Bluetooth. An even quicker tip: while in the Wireless Manager, tap Bluetooth Settings.
Tip #10: Change and Get Ringtones
You can change their ringtones in Settings > Sounds & Notifications; or download free ringtones at Windows Mobile® Owner’s Circle.
Tip #11: OneNote® Mobile
Under the Office Mobile menu, You can access OneNote® Mobile, a fast, easy way to take down meeting notes or write quick reminders. This program allows You to enter text using their own handwriting. The handwritten characters are then analyzed and appear on the screen as text automatically.
Tip #12: Change Mouse Orientation to 4-Way Navigation
Press the Lock key on the left side of the device to change Mouse mode to 4-Way Navigation mode. Press it again to return to Mouse mode.
Tip #13: Customize the Main Screen
You will enjoy the customizable Main screen, which allows them to view their most-used features and applications. To customize the screen, tap Start > Settings > Today, and then select the Items tab. Check the items you would like to appear on the Main screen.
