For convenience, the lock/unlock key is located on the upper right-hand side of the phone. Simply press to lock or unlock. Although it is recommended that the phone be kept in the auto lock mode, users may turn this feature off by selecting Menu > Settings & Tools > Touch Settings > Auto Lock > Off.

Motorola Rival user Reviews

Here we get some user reviews, the buyers of Motorla and some video guide for you, so, it may helps if you want to buy..

“Motorola Rival Reviews”

“This phone was great for texting and playing around with, but I had a hard time using it as a phone. The bluetooth would loose connection and when not using a bluetooth, and making a call, my cheek would touch the dial pad and change settings and press digits – Unless I locked it first.”

“I must say I have been skeptical of Motorola these past few years, and I even had the Motorola Krave (the clear flip touch screen phone) recently, but it was defective and I took it back and swore I’d stay away from Motorola. But after experiencing Verizon’s attrocity they call the Samsung Trance (which should be taken off the shelf), I went with a fairly priced well reviewed Motorola phone, the RIVAL. And I am beyond impressed! The clarity of the calls are the BEST I have experienced in my cell phone life! The semi-touch screen is very responsive, the Qwerty keyboard is perfectly sized and spaced, it makes texting unbelievable easy! It comes with a ton of ringtones, and quite entertaining ones! The fact that it offers different ways to view your text messages, either in conversation form or by time, really impresses me. The camera is very clear and the zoom while taking pictures and while viewing pictures is the best I have used! One of my favorite features is the “function” key that once pressed changes the red backlit letters into green backlit numbers and symbols! I am shocked that I am so pleased with a Motorola phone. WAY TO GO MOTO!”

“This phone works great all-around; Calls are clear, customization is present, texting on the QUERTY is nice, and the look is amazing. But what it has done could have been made better. The emoticons could have had an option to show the the emotions in a smile, such as :) instead of an image, for texts made to non-verizon customers. Also, texting could have been made for the touch screen as well, which i don’t know why it was not since it works to well for what it does.”
